10/25 Wheel Tutoring with Juan - 4 to 6pm

If you have experience on the wheel but need some guidance on technique or process, this class is perfect for you! Must be 18+ or accompanied by a guardian who must also enroll in the class.

 

Whether you want to focus solely on one skill (like centering, pulling, collaring, etc.) or want to learn a new skill (like throwing closed forms!), Juan will help you navigate through the process and help refine your skills. 

 

This open-ended class is designed without a framework -- its customized to your needs! So bring your questions, eagerness to learn and finally master the technique that's holding you back from moving to the next level!

Registration for this course includes:

• 5lbs of stoneware clay (additional clay available for purchase)
• Use of class tools (full beginner toolkits available for purchase)

 

In preparation for this class, please:

• Bring an apron or wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty/staining
• Ensure you wear short sleeves or sleeves that can easily tuck back and not get in the way
• Tie back long so that it does not get caught on clay or the wheel

 

All students must sign a code of conduct agreement before the start of class.

We require at least 2 students to run a class; refunds will be issued if we must cancel due to low registration.

 

Registration fees (minus service charges) are 100% refundable if registration is canceled 10 days ahead of class start date.

• For example, if class starts on the 15th, one must cancel no later than the 5th to receive 100% refund.

 

50% refund (minus service charges) if canceled 5 days ahead of class start date.

• For example, if class starts on the 15th, one must cancel no later than the 10th to receive 50% refund.

 

Non-refundable within 5 days of class, however, registration is transferable once to another person prior to class start date.

• For example, if class starts on the 15th and it's now the 12th and you can no longer attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please email the Studio Manager to coordinate.
